The Soul of the Landscape – Ezio Ranaldi
The Soul of the Landscape

Ezio Ranaldi was born in 1948 in Canosa di Puglia, where he still lives and works. A self-taught artist, he has developed a personal poetic language that spans painting, photography, and visual experimentation, moving between contemporary figuration, Italian metaphysics, and surrealism.
His work stems from photographic images of everyday life — faces, urban glimpses, fragments of reality — reworked through color and composition into suspended, theatrical scenes, where reality is transformed into a symbolic narrative. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and across several European cities.
