Description of the work
In Call of the Nordlands, Enrico Fossati creates a Nordic landscape suspended between reality and vision. A stream cuts through the snow and leads the eye toward a monumental mountain, while the golden light reflects on the dark surface, creating an intense contrast with the cold tones of the environment.
The composition conveys silence, depth, and a sense of vastness. The dialogue between water, rock, and light invites the viewer to slow down and enter a contemplative space, bringing a scenographic yet balanced presence to interiors.
