Description of the artwork

In Canoni, Ivano Petrucci deconstructs the classic portrait. The face emerges from a whirlwind of chromatic energy and seems to dissolve and recompose itself under the action of vibrant brushstrokes.

Deep blues, reds, and yellows blend into geometric fragments, creating a contrast between the rigor of form and the freedom of emotion. The protagonist's gaze remains the point of calm in the composition.
