Description of the work

In Chimera, Ivano Petrucci dissolves the boundary between the human figure and abstraction in a whirlwind of color and movement. Reds, yellows, blues, and turquoises transform the subject into a presence in constant metamorphosis.

The work explores the hybrid nature of the human being, suspended between rational and instinctive, matter and aspiration.
