Artist: Mavet
Title: City Rain
Type: artist's print on aluminum

Description of the work

In City Rain, Mavet depicts city life in the rain. Dark silhouettes advance beneath umbrellas, while the scene breaks down into blocks of color and synthetic shapes, as seen through wet glass.

Bright red and green emerge from the grays of the city. In the movement of the crowd, the human figure loses its individual details and becomes part of an energetic urban landscape, capable of animating a contemporary space.
