Description of the artwork
In Connotation of the Human Being as a Free Being, Ivano Petrucci stages an explosion of vitality through a dynamic and textured composition. Two figures merge in an empathetic embrace that transcends physical form to become energy, while vibrant brushstrokes celebrate the freedom of the spirit.
Warm tones dialogue with electric blue, red, and green. The light background allows the central mass to pulse, suggesting an individual free to express themselves in authentic contact with the other.
The artwork combines figuration and gestural abstraction. The faces retain sweetness and expressiveness, while the bodies dissolve into a texture of marks: a hymn to inner regeneration and the soul that recognizes itself in the other.
