Description of the work
In Flows of Freedom, Aldo Palin depicts a flock of birds in flight over the Venetian marine horizon, among the silhouettes of the wooden mooring poles emerging from the water. The collective movement of the birds becomes a metaphor for a shared destiny: each individual follows its own trajectory yet is part of a larger design. The grazing light on the water amplifies the sense of openness and infinite possibility.
The work belongs to Aldo Palin's photographic research on landscape as a mirror of human interiority: real places transformed by light and atmosphere into thresholds between the visible and the invisible.
