Description of the work
In Golden Flow, Mavet transforms the dynamics of urban traffic into an abstract and almost liquid vision. The work is constructed through a rhythmic deconstruction of space, where pedestrian crossings and road markings are transformed into vectors of golden light that cut through the composition. The atmosphere is saturated with warmth, suggesting the reflection of a metropolitan sunset that illuminates surfaces and dematerializes contours.
The perspective, divided into geometric blocks, creates a sense of acceleration and constant transit. In the center of the scene, the outlined shape of a vehicle seems to flow along a track of light, becoming part of a pulsating urban organism. The amber tones and graphic blacks contrast with the precision of the support, creating a visual tension that invites reflection on the speed of contemporary life. The work plays on the concept of permanence in the ephemeral: the street, par excellence a place of passage, is ennobled and transformed into an inner landscape made of light and direction.
