Description of the artwork

In Carousel No. 1, Ivano Petrucci explores portraiture through a vibrant and fragmented lens. The human figure emerges from a whirlwind of color and energy, while the woman's face remains the calm and magnetic center of the composition.

Deep reds, electric blues, sunny yellows, and fuchsia contrast with the whiteness of the background. The hands brought to the face guide the gaze toward the eyes, a point of silent connection between the artwork and the viewer. Color embodies the complexity of the human soul and the beauty that recomposes itself in chaos.
