Description of the artwork

In I segreti, Claudio Giulianelli creates a scene immersed in a rarefied atmosphere, where the boundary between theatrical play and dreamlike dimension fades into a luminous horizon. The composition is dominated by a slender female figure with a sculptural headdress, whose hands seem to weave invisible threads between the different souls of the painting.

The color gradation moves from the intense yellow of the base to a vibrant cerulean blue, suggesting the transition from the concreteness of the stage to the lightness of a dream. A seated soldier and a standing Pulcinella represent the facets of the human experience, suspended between duty and mask.

The warm tones of the purple dress contrast with the clarity of the sky. The central figure seems to rule the scene, while the secrets evoked by the title remain protected by the silence of the metaphysical landscape.
