Description of the work
In The Inner Horizon, Aldo Palin depicts a figure in a purple swimsuit facing the expanse of the sea, sitting next to a yellow lounger. The conscious presence in the face of infinity is the central theme: not escape, but the encounter with oneself in open space. The warm color of the lounger and the purple of the swimsuit create a chromatic dialogue with the gray of the sea, making solitude an act of full presence.
The work belongs to Aldo Palin's photographic research on landscape as a mirror of human interiority: real places transformed by light and atmosphere into thresholds between the visible and the invisible.
