Description of the artwork

In La Fede n.2 o Meditazione, artist Ivano Petrucci creates a scene of profound spiritual intensity, where the face of a figure in prayer emerges from a veritable explosion of light and color. The composition is dominated by a chromatic dynamism that seems to spring directly from thought, transforming the moment of contemplation into a visual manifestation of vital energy. The artwork represents not only a religious act, but a state of the soul in connection with the absolute.

The color gradation, ranging from the deep blues at the base to a dazzling golden yellow at the top, suggests an ascension: the passage from the silence of meditation to the revelation of light. In this suspended setting, the hands joined at the chest become the central pivot, a symbol of a faith that is not static but vibrates with an unstoppable creative force. The vivid and saturated tones contrast with the delicacy of the facial features, creating a visual tension that invites contemplation.

The artwork plays on the concept of visible and invisible: the human figure remains anchored to reality, while the whirlwind of abstract brushstrokes spurs the viewer to search for that which transcends matter. The artwork addresses the theme of inner balance: the chromatic chaos is not confusion, but the richness of the spiritual world that protects and nourishes the believer's intimacy, transforming meditation into a moment of sacred connection with the infinite.
