Description of the artwork
In L'Amore di Chiara, Claudio Giulianelli entrusts a female figure with a reserved and luminous bearing with the task of guarding what is not said but felt: love as a silent presence and care that asks for nothing in return.
Wrapped in a carmine red dress, the figure holds something precious and fragile in her arms. Her face is turned slightly to the side, absorbed in a thought or a memory. The branched headpiece, in warm shades of red and gold, stands out against the blue sky like a secular halo.
The golden field and the sky streaked with luminous clouds breathe around the protagonist, allowing the emotion to unfold in space. The work speaks of a specific love and, at the same time, of every affection cherished with grace and discretion.
