Description of the artwork

In Nebula Planet, Ivan Cagnani encloses the infinity of the cosmos within a perfect circular perimeter, transforming the composition into a lens open to a dreamlike universe. The artwork presents itself as a telescopic vision of a distant world, where gaseous matter and starlight blend in a dance of deep blues and luminous whites.

The circular structure acts as a sacred boundary that separates the viewer from the surrounding void, focusing attention on a central nebula that seems to pulse with a life of its own. The color gradation shifts from the marine depths of the base toward an ethereal and almost blinding center, suggesting the birth of a star or the presence of an untouched atmosphere. Small points of light, similar to cosmic dust or reflections of ice, dot the surface, giving the image a three-dimensional depth.

The celestial landscape is not just an astronomical representation, but a metaphor for purity and inner silence. The delicacy of the shades, which recall the fluidity of watercolor while maintaining the precision of digital detail, invites calm contemplation. In this suspended scenario, the absence of earthly references spurs the mind toward a journey of metaphysical discovery, where the "planet" becomes a refuge for abstract thought.

The artwork addresses the theme of origin and mystery: the circle, a symbol of perfection and continuity, protects a core of vibrant energy that seems to want to expand beyond its boundaries.

Artwork created on an aluminum support: a rigid, flat, and durable surface that enhances the brilliance and depth of the colors. It is the ideal choice for abstract art, contemporary photography, and modern spaces seeking a design element that is both bold and relaxing.
