Description of the work

In Luce, Lory Nox explores the dialogue between fog and light filtered through the trunks of a forest. The silhouettes of the trees dissolve into the milky atmosphere, while beams of diffused light cross the scene creating an almost painterly depth. The black and white accentuates the dreamlike quality of the image, suspended between reality and abstraction.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the natural landscape of the Trieste area and the Karst: familiar places transformed by light and atmosphere into visions suspended between documentation and visual poetry.
