Description of the artwork
In Nel tempo, Ivano Petrucci explores the human face as a territory where memories and vital impulses are layered. The figure emerges from a luminous background, crossed by chromatic fragments that orbit the mind like visible thoughts.
Warm tones dialogue with electric blue, yellow, and carmine red. Time does not appear as erosion, but as an accumulation of energy and awareness. The textured brushstrokes give the portrait an almost electric vibration.
The stillness of the face represents the essence, while the dynamism of the colors embodies the becoming of experience. Time becomes an expanded dimension in which emotion crystallizes into art.
