In Beyond the Veil, Giorgio De Camillis transforms the human face into an emotional landscape. A female profile seems to emerge or fade behind a texture of lines and scratches, evoking a memory resurfacing from time or a soul revealing itself through the folds of existence.

The face is never completely visible, but remains on the verge of revealing itself. The work addresses the themes of memory and identity: the veil is not an obstacle, but a threshold and an invitation to look beyond the surface to reach the most authentic essence of being.
