Description of the artwork

In Ordensia, the unfinished pink, Ivano Petrucci explores the beauty of the unfinished and the delicacy of nature through a vibrant contemporary lens. The protagonist's face, captured in an expression of serene introspection, emerges from an explosion of petals and brushstrokes that evoke the fragility and strength of a blooming hydrangea.

The artwork is an ode to poetic sensitivity: the color gradation, ranging from ethereal whites to intense pinks and deep blues, suggests a transition between tangible reality and the emotional dimension. In this suspended setting, the "unfinished" technique is not a lack, but a stylistic choice that represents the continuous evolution of thought and beauty itself, which never ends.

The enveloping pastel tones contrast with bolder patches of color, creating a visual tension that invites contemplation. The artwork plays with the concept of inner blooming: the flowers that seem to emerge from the face suggest that the most authentic beauty springs from the depths of the mind, protecting the sacred connection between man and nature.
