Description of the work
In Orizzonti di Seta, Giuseppe Marani captures a landscape of intense chromatic vibrancy, in which the land takes on the appearance of a precious fabric spread across the hills. Bands of color chase each other toward a distant horizon, creating a deep and rhythmic perspective.
The blue of the cornflowers and the red of the poppies create a richly detailed texture in the foreground. Toward the background, green, red, and yellow transform into more minimalist fields of color, illuminated by a light that enhances their brilliance.
The transition from floral detail to the vastness of the landscape invites the eye to move from the particular to the whole. The photograph celebrates the bloom as a sign of abundance, renewal, and harmony with the earth.
