Description of the work

In Tree in the Fog, Lory Nox depicts a solitary tree immersed in a landscape enveloped by fog. The figure of the tree stands out strongly against the diffused whiteness of the atmosphere and becomes a symbol of resilience and solitude. The grayscale accentuates the graphic and minimalist quality of the composition, where the essential form interacts with the surrounding void.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the natural landscape of the Trieste area and the Karst: familiar places transformed by light and atmosphere into visions suspended between documentation and visual poetry.
