Description of the work

In Molo Audace, Lory Nox depicts the famous Trieste pier under a cloudy sky full of atmosphere. The surface of the water reflects the diffused light, while the structure of the pier extends towards the horizon, creating a powerful perspective line. The black and white accentuates the melancholic and romantic character of one of the symbolic places of Trieste.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the Trieste area and the city's relationship with the sea, between history, identity, and urban landscape.
