Title: Si Vola
Type: certified artist reproduction
Year: 2016
Description of the artwork
In Si Vola, Ivano Petrucci captures the suspended moment between gravity and freedom, between the weight of the body and the soul's upward impulse. The central figure, with open arms and face turned downward, does not fall: they let go.
The composition unfolds through dynamic diagonals that cross the image like air currents. The body dissolves into color: bright reds, vibrant ochres, deep greens, and flashes of white convey the physical sensation of movement.
The artwork explores the theme of inner liberation. Flight is not a heroic conquest, but a conscious surrender and a surge toward a new possibility.
