Description of the Artwork

In States of Thought Through Time, Ivano Petrucci explores the fragmentation of identity. A female portrait emerges from brushstrokes and layers of color that tell the story of the flow of ideas, emotions, and inner metamorphosis.

Reds, blues, and greens overlap in a controlled chaos. The contrast between the face and the intensity of the color creates a tension between the inner self and the outside world.
