Description of the work

In Nature, Lory Nox depicts purple bellflowers emerging from a dark and deep background. The contrast between the luminous petals and the surrounding darkness gives the image an almost painterly quality, close to the tradition of Flemish still life. The light shapes the botanical details and creates a dialogue between delicacy, depth, and texture.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the natural world: botanical details transformed by light into compositions of great formal elegance.
