Photographer: Lory Nox
Title: Forest
Type: fine art photography
Year: contemporary

Description of the work

In Forest, Lory Nox immerses the viewer's gaze in a fog-shrouded woodland, where tree trunks multiply into the distance, creating a labyrinth of vertical forms. The atmosphere is dense and silent: the fog erases distant details and allows the closer silhouettes to emerge with an almost tactile precision. The black and white lends the image a timeless quality, somewhere between documentation and vision.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic exploration of the natural landscape of the Trieste area and the Karst: familiar places transformed by light and atmosphere into visions suspended between documentation and visual poetry.
