Description of the work

In Forest, Lory Nox immerses the viewer's gaze in a forest shrouded in fog, where the trunks multiply into the distance, creating a labyrinth of vertical shapes. The atmosphere is dense and silent: the fog erases distant details and allows the closest silhouettes to emerge with an almost tactile precision. The black and white gives the image a timeless quality, between documentation and vision.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the natural landscape of the Trieste area and the Karst: familiar places transformed by light and atmosphere into visions suspended between documentation and visual poetry.
