Description of the work

In Portizza, Lory Nox depicts an urban scene in the rain. A solitary figure with an umbrella walks along a wet street, while reflections on the cobblestones multiply lights and shadows in a compelling visual interplay. The black and white accentuates the cinematic quality of the image and evokes a melancholic and poetic atmosphere.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic exploration of the urban landscape of Trieste: the city becomes a stage for silent encounters, where the rain transforms the everyday into something extraordinary.
