Type: Artistic Wallpaper
Year: contemporary

Description of the work

In The Fog, Lory Nox depicts bare trees enveloped in an ethereal and luminous fog. The branches intertwine against the diffused white of the sky, creating a graphic texture of great delicacy. The absence of color accentuates the abstract quality of the composition and transforms the winter landscape into an image of form and light.

The work belongs to Lory Nox's photographic research on the natural landscape of the Trieste area and the Karst: familiar places transformed by light and atmosphere into visions suspended between documentation and visual poetry.
